My friend has a pit bull dog that is about 14 years old. Pits have been known to have sensitive skin and are prone to various rashes, itching, and hotspots that look like they drive the poor dog crazy. So when I saw this product I decided to give it a try and what a difference it has made. Within the first 24 hours the itching (constant chewing and scratching) had been reduced to half. By the end of the 2nd day, the itching had stopped and the dog actually got off the couch and walked around the yard! At the end of the 1st week, most of the sores caused by the itching had or were in the process of healing and his coat was restoring itself. The dog had more energy, the sad miserable look in his eyes was gone and I could tell he just felt better all the way around. Now this product does contain hemp which is a powerful and necessary ingredient in my opinion that helps break the manic cycle of itch-scratch-itch-bite and just generally puts the dog in a better mood! I definitely recommend this if your dog is experiencing anything that keeps it in a manic obsessed state. It will provide him with the comfort and calmness required for healing.
